Synopsis

Good for Dogs – Abelardo’s Circus theater is a fun puppet theater show inspired by the lives of Brazilian circus artists. In the scene, the circus truck is stuck on the side of the road, while two helpers try to unlock the vehicle to continue the journey, the dog Abelardo presents the public with the variety show where plush dolls, toys and objects are transformed into unusual attractions, among they: the flea Patrícia Peralta and the rabbit Renato Aéreo. In the second part of the show, the cast of glove puppets - traditional puppetry technique of Cia Caixa do Elefante since its foundation in 1991, represent two stories from the animation repertoire that has projected the group internationally: O Invento Maravilho, a comic sketch in which the character Aragão goes into contradiction when he buys a lie detector device and the farce O Trapaceiro Enganado, a sketch that tells the story of two con artists who try to carry out a scam after sharing a suspicious bag of oranges found on the street.

The dynamics of the show are based on the surprising rotating set that transforms into multiple environments where actors and puppets take turns playing the characters, creating varied narrative and action plans. A magical show that enchants children and adults.
